The Buck Creek Post Office

The old post office in Buck Creek is a building that I have photographed a few times. It is an amazing old building that used to have the famous Buck Creek Pizza attached to it on the side. Now it is just a patriotic looking post office. The light was hitting this building perfectly when I was making this photo. The thing about traveling is that you can’t always choose the light on your subject. When it is good light you take advantage of that.

When The Weekly Themes Become Regular

I used to wait for five or more post office photos to pile up and then run then all in one week with a theme. Lately though I have been rotating those early theme ideas into my normal posts. That allows room for my new theme ideas. I love finding the places where people gather in small towns. The small town post office is certainly that. This one just has a great look to it.
