Back At The Long Center

The last couple of months have seen my in the Long Center a few times for concerts. When I thought of this black and white project this month this photo was on my list. I knew that I could let the marquee light be the star and let it just fall off until the photo went black. This is a building that I have photographed a few times so I kind of knew how it would look before I made the photo. It did exactly what I thought it would, and it made for a cool photo.

Black And White February

For this entire month my afternoon theme is black and white photos. I started this a couple of years ago because I was not seeing any color around. That year I made every photo of the month black and white. Of course I saw the best sunrises and sunsets that entire month. I couldn’t post them though because of the theme. This year I am just posting my black and white images in the afternoon. It is a fun way to play with the fact that there is not much to see out there with my theme.
