Leaving The Fairgrounds

Last year I had a couple of busy weeks at the Indiana State Fairgrounds covering track and field. For some reason I was always parked at the opposite end of the grounds from where my building was. Track and field can be exhausting to cover, but I tried to make a photo as I was leaving every night. This one might be one of my favorites. The old coliseum building looks pretty good at night. It was also perfect for this months theme.

Black And White February

For this entire month my afternoon theme is black and white photos. I started this a couple of years ago because I was not seeing any color around. That year I made every photo of the month black and white. Of course I saw the best sunrises and sunsets that entire month. I couldn’t post them though because of the theme. This year I am just posting my black and white images in the afternoon. It is a fun way to play with the fact that there is not much to see out there with my theme.
