Seems Like Just Yesterday

Fourteen years ago tomorrow I was walking west on Main Street heading into the Lafayette Brewing Company. I stopped to hold the door for someone who was coming from the east into the building. We grabbed a table together and the rest was history. I don’t think that I had any idea how much my life would change so quickly from that day on. It did though in the best way possible.

The End Of An Era

Shortly before the end of last year the brew pub closed down. The place was special to us because of the initial meeting, but also because of countless parties and dinners there in the years after. In a perfect world we would be having dinner there tomorrow night to celebrate. Of course that is not possible now. I might have to cruise by just for old times though.
