The Otterbein Post Office In Black And White

A couple of years ago I started making black and white photos a theme in February. I planned to do the same thing this year, but with a twist. As much as I could this month I wanted to make photos that were mostly black with a splash of light in them. While I was making snokeh photos in downtown Otterbein I realized that this post office was exactly what this project was supposed to be. I quickly changed gears and made this photo. I really like how it turned out. It was the exact idea that I had in mind for the month.

Black And White February

For this entire month my afternoon theme is black and white photos. I started this a couple of years ago because I was not seeing any color around. That year I made every photo of the month black and white. Of course I saw the best sunrises and sunsets that entire month. I couldn’t post them though because of the theme. This year I am just posting my black and white images in the afternoon. It is a fun way to play with the fact that there is not much to see out there with my theme.
