The Dan Patch Mural

On one of my first trips to Indiana State I had to detour through Oxford. As I was approaching town I was trying to find out who this Dan Patch guy was. From the time that I saw the first sign until I entered town I had built up this mythical man in my head that would rival Paul Bunyan. I was pretty shocked to see that all the signs were for a horse. It was a fast horse as it turned out. This mural kind of shows part of that story.

Another Mural Week

Next week the theme of the blog goes to black and white for the month of February. It is a fun thing that I have done the last few years. For this final week of January I thought that I would add a splash of color to the blog with some murals.
