Visiting The Fonz Statue In Milwaukee

I made this photo of the Fonz almost thirteen years ago. That is crazy to think about. This trip is still fresh in my mind. We stayed at a haunted hotel and had some fun in town. I went out on this cold morning to find some photos around the area. Looking through my photos from this walk I found all kinds of fun things that I skipped over looking for more epic photos. My eye has shifted a bit over the years.

Looking Back

While on this trip Lightroom 5 came out so I was trying different things to make photos. It is funny how much things have changed over the years. You could just buy a program when it came out. It had to have cool new features or you would not need to purchase it. Of course now we are in the world of subscription plans. It was fun to look back through these photos to find how I was playing around with ideas for the new software. It is also fun to see how much everything has come along since then. I made the photo above in the new version of Lightroom by combining three photos three stops apart in their HDR feature. I think that it came out okay.
