The Commandants House At The Indiana Veterans Home

This is a really cool house on the grounds of the veterans home just down the road from me. It is kind of a symbol of what has happened at the veterans home. It was built with great promise but over the years the funding just is not helping keep it up. It is still occupied right now. The other buildings on commandants row I believe are destined to be destroyed. It really is something to document while it is all still there.

Documenting The Area

This has been a fun couple of years documenting my area. Things change so fast that it is a job that never really ends. For a photographer that is kind of a good thing. You see the end of things like this historic row, but there is always something new that pops up as well.
