Blue Hour At University Book Store

While out on a Christmas photowalk I made this photo. I have made similar photos in the past, but here the light was too good not to try something new. The first light of the day and a fresh snow made for a cool scene. This is a simple scene, but over the last couple of years I have come to really enjoy these simple scenes.

Being Open To Photos

I went up to campus on this morning with two goals. The first was to make a couple of photos of the Purdue Christmas tree with an empty lobby. The second was to photograph the blue hour light around the Union. I used to be laser focused on my goals and think of nothing else. As I walked around I was looking for something else interesting. That is how we got this photo.
