Photographing Little Women

Last week I got the call to see if I wanted to photograph dress rehearsal for the Get Dramatic production of Little Women. I said yes right away. It was an easy choice. First of all Get Dramatic always puts on a great show. The second reason was that I wanted to see Thomas Duncan Hall in person. I was not familiar with the play, but I have now seen it two and a half times. I would go again if I could. These kids had two weeks to learn lines and put this thing on. We are always amazed with things that we cannot do. That might be why this is so amazing to me. They did a great job to put this together. I can’t wait to see what this group does next. Thomas Duncan Hall

This is a hall that I have walked by and photographed before. I have always wondered what it looked like inside. Thomas Duncan had this hall built to show off his photos from Africa. That is pretty crazy, but relatable to another photographer. For the couple of days that I was making photos here I was able to explore the building a little. Sometime down the road I would love to photograph it again.
