A Former Bonanza Sirloin Pit

Right next to the previously Pizza Hut from yesterday used to sit this previously Bonanza restaurant. This is an interesting restaurant chain. It was started by the guy who played Hoss Cartwright on Bonanza. There was a rival chain of restaurants that also had a Bonanza name called Ponderosa. Eventually the chains merged. I thought that this sign had a familiar shape to it, and now it all makes sense. This building used to be something else.

This week the theme is a new one. I am stealing an idea from Nick Carver. Actually I have had the idea and have been collecting photos for a while now. I didn’t know what to call it. Nick has a project called Previously Taco Bell that he has been working on. This was the perfect name for my project. All this week I will be showing off some of what I have been collecting.
