My Favorite Purdue Photos Of 2025

My Favorite Purdue Campus Photos Of 2025

This list is one where I always feel like I could have done more on. I don’t get up to campus as much as I used to. Last year though I really tried to get up there as much as possible.

We will start the list with one of the coolest things that I was able to photograph last year. When I saw how good the Northern Lights were I knew that this could be a rare chance to see them on campus. It was amazing to see the show around some of my favorite landmarks. It was even more fun to witness it with some wide eyed students. It was a magical night seeing something amazing. I hope that I get this chance again. If not it was well worth the time spent on campus watching it.

I made this photo on the second day of the year last year. It was nice to get a snokeh photo shoot early in the year. The conditions were perfect as well for some interesting photos. I really like how this one turned out.

This year I had some fun on campus with the infrared camera making some images. You are always looking for new ways to see campus, and the infrared camera is a way to do just that.

I love this photo of the old administration building at blue hour. I really like how this turned out. They were doing work on the old building so all of the lights were on.

I got lucky one morning to capture the moon rising up behind the Boilermaker statue. The statue has now been around for twenty years. It is one of my favorite landmarks to make photos of. I am always looking for something new to do with it. This was a new one for me.

This is a rare photo for me. The fountain is not always on during summer sunsets. Here though it was so I was able to finally make a photo that I have wanted to for a couple of years.

It doesn’t get much better than fall foliage and snokeh. In early November I was able to get out and make photos of both. This was one of my favorite photos from that walk.

Speaking of snokeh I had some pretty good adventures on campus this year making snokeh photos. This is one of my favorites from a late year walk around Purdue. It kind of has an old time feel to it which I like.

Every year I go and watch the Purdue Christmas tree arrive. This year I did the same, but I was set on making something new and different. Here I found Darrell Smith who takes care of the tree silhouetted against the iconic stained glass windows of the Union. I really like how this photo turned out.

Purdue always looks so good around Christmas. I will close this post with this photo of the Union and the Purdue hedge lit up for the holidays.

Those are my favorite campus photos from 2025. You can purchase any photo by clicking on the photo. You can see my full take of photos from campus as well by clicking here.
