Taking A Walk Pregame

I took a little walk outside of Mackey before my last Purdue men’s basketball game of the year last week. The blue hour light was really starting to hit, and there was a little snow. There really wasn’t enough for snokeh, but it does pop up in a few photos. Everything worked out great to make some cool photos of fans entering the stadium. For what I do now these types of photos are pretty worthless. The wire doesn’t want them. I like making them though so I just go out and do it for fun. This is such a cool building. I enjoy showing it off a little.

Closing The Book On 2025

2025 was a fun year. When the year shifts for some of my photography it makes sense to stop and reflect on it. For basketball though we are just at midseason. There really isn’t a difference for me if a game falls on either side of the new year. Of course the nature of the new year makes me put a little extra pressure on myself to make good images on those games. Below are a few bonus photos from my walk around the stadium.
