Flying Above Brookston, Indiana

This was the first photo that I made for this series so it makes sense that it would be the first that I would post. This was kind of the idea that I had. I love the blue sky, blue tower, red buildings below, and the snow on the ground. My fingers were freezing to get this, but it was worth it. I thought that I had a decent idea. When I saw this photo I knew that I was onto something.

A New Theme

This is a theme that has been brewing for a while now. I love to photograph small town water towers. I had this idea for a theme, but just one problem. I didn’t have a drone to get up here. I tried using the timer on my camera and throwing it up, but it never worked. Now that I have a drone again I can finally see through what my idea was. As we transition into 2026 I thought that it would be a good time for this new theme. I hope that I can make these photos a little more often now to keep this idea going.
