Having Some Fun With The Christmas Lights

This is the time of the year where there are lights everywhere. I love to have some fun with filters and lights. You can guess where this is going. I have really enjoyed just trying things out with filters and the Christmas lights. For the most part things can get too complicated with the filters. Here though there were just enough lights in the foreground to have an effect of the filter and not distract too much. This is a simple photo, but one that I really like.

Having Fun Failing

It sounds weird, but sometimes you can have fun failing at photography. If you never fail as a photographer then you are playing it safe. I really like trying things out. Sometimes they work, and sometimes they don’t. I tried a few things on this trip. Many of them did not work. This one kind of did though, and it was a little cooler because of that fact.
