Blue Hour At The Courthouse

Wednesday night before my concert I walked down to the courthouse to see the Christmas lights against the blue hour sky. I had not planned to make this photo prior to getting to downtown, but when I saw the light i knew that I had to get down to the courthouse quickly. On my walk down the street I had thought of a wide angle of the entire courthouse. When I was up close though I changed to this photo to just focus on the dome of the courthouse and the night sky. Without a lot of distractions I think that this works a little better.

I like photos like this one. I did not plan it. Things just worked out to make a good photo. I really enjoyed my concert photos. I posted them on the blog Thursday afternoon. This was not planned, but very cool as well. Sometimes the photos that you don’t plan are the most fun.
