Christmas Over Otterbein

I have been trying to come up with ways to use the drone during the holidays. Here I came up with an idea that would put many of the things that I like about Otterbein into one photo. You have the old Mail Pouch ad, the post office, the Pizza King, and the water tower. You have all of that behind the Merry Christmas sign with a little snow on the ground.

Working The Photo

I talk about this often, but years ago I watched a video following Nat Geo photographer Joel Sartore. He talked about working the scene. I will make a photo and then think of ways to make it better. You work the scene a little bit to get what you want. Here with the video from the drone I could find and compose this photo.
