The Christmas Banner In Chalmers

It has become a yearly tradition to drive up to Chalmers, Indiana to see their Christmas banner. You can see it from the road, but I always stop in to get a little closer to it. This little town might just be the reason why I started thinking about finding more small town Christmas cheer.

Trying Something New

I decided to try something different and take the drone up. Looking at the photo I now realize that I needed to go a little higher. I needed to find a way to separate the banner from the rest of the scene. Putting it up against the road might have worked better. It was still something different though, and it is a good way to try and find new ideas in these small towns.
