A Snowy Christmas Walk Around Campus

Yesterday after the volleyball game I took my gear to my car and grabbed my snokeh kit. The flakes were pretty good for snokeh photos, and the dark sky would allow more to show up. For about an hour or so the conditions were pretty much perfect for snokeh photos. I have made two trips to campus already this winter before December for snokeh. That has to be some kind of a record.

Trying Something Different

Normally my night snokeh photos just atomically are converted to black and white. For this trip though I had the thought to lean into the amber sky from the lights on campus. Purdue is a black and gold school so why not have some fun with those colors for this edit? I have made enough snokeh photos over the years that having a new idea out in the field is a fun thing to work on and try. Below are a few bonus photos that I liked from my walk. The snow polishers even make a couple of appearances.
