A Fall Sunset At Mackey Arena

Tuesday night I went for a walk around Mackey Arena before the home opener for the men’s basketball team. The light hitting the stadium was very nice. Looking at the scene I knew that it could be a very good black and white. The light was hitting the white portions of the Mackey sign and the blacks would go to black.

Making Some New Photos

I have been so busy with sports photos lately that I haven’t been making many new photos away from the field. Of course this week a lot of the new ones have been around the stadiums, but it has been fun chasing some light again. I need to do that a little more often. Next week the sports schedule slows down a little, and the timing of the light should help me make some new photos.
