Watching The Moon Rise

Last night on my way to the stadium to photograph the women’s home opener I had the thought that tonight would be the good night to photograph the moon. The moon will rise right around sunset making it much easier to balance the light. As I was heading in the media door I realized that maybe last night was a pretty good night to photograph the moon as well. It was just sitting there above the entrance to the stadium. I grabbed my camera out of my bag and made this photo.

Back In Mackey

This week I will be in Mackey Arena four times. It is the start of the season so four games in five days really isn’t that bad. It is a good chance to get in there and try some things. This will be the 13th year that I have been making images from the floor. The challenge this year will be to come up with things that I have not done before.
