The Loft At McCord Candies

I love how the loft area of McCord Candies has changed over the years. It has become a little thrift shop now with a few tables to still sit and enjoy anything that you have bought downstairs. A fun fact is that through that Purdue Pete door you can go further up to where they make the candy canes. It might already be too late to get a spot to see them made this year, but it is a fun way to spend some time during the holidays.

Photographing With Film

I was up here with my Sears TLS film camera. I knew that the film could take the dynamic range of the scene, but it too a while until I saw the result to see if it did. I don’t know if I would have posted this photo if I made it with my mirrorless camera. I like the look that the film gives this scene.
