Walking Into Fenway Park

Walking Towards The Field At Fenway Park

I made this photo while on a Fenway Park tour in 2016. I kept trying to find these little windows into the park as we walked around it. The iconic red and green made this photo for me. For someone this was their first look at the field. It is a pretty cool view, and someday I would love to have my camera in here during a game.

Fenway Park Week

This week the theme in the afternoon is all about Fenway Park. Fifty years ago this week Carlton Fisk hit one of the most iconic home runs in baseball history at this park. I took the tour where I made these photos 41 years exactly since that home run was hit. If  you read this blog often then you know that Carlton was my favorite ballplayer. He hit this iconic home run a little less than a year before I was born. It was still a core memory from my childhood as it was played all of the time. It was cool to get to tour this park on the anniversary of that home run. Now with that moment turning 50 I thought that this could be a cool theme for the week.
