Firehouse At Loeb Stadium

The Let The Good Times Rock Tour

I am an 80’s kid. Over the next couple of days that will become very apparent. I have always been a huge fan of the rock ballads. When the Let The Good Times Rock tour was announced I was pretty excited. Three bands coming to town with huge ballads from the 80’s. I was all in. I really wanted to get in to photograph it. It would be cool to see these bands live, but way cooler to photograph them. The first band on the stage Saturday was Firehouse.

Seeing Firehouse Live

In high school I had a firehouse tape in my car. A cassette tape is what we first used to have our music be a little more mobile. The record couldn’t go in the car, and the 8 track just didn’t have enough songs on it. The cassette let us take our albums into the car. Firehouse was one of those tapes in my car. A lot has changed over the years. This is not the exact Firehouse that I listened to in my car, but they were still pretty good. They put on a great show to start things off.

Early Concert Light

During my three songs in the pit the light was not very good. It was still pretty bright out so the stage lights didn’t really have much of an effect. When the three songs are over I get to roam around and make photos. During that time we got a pretty good sunset despite there being no clouds. It allowed me to make a few wide photos from the show with a nice sky. Below are a few bonus photos from the Firehouse portion of the show.
