The Kirklin Public Library

I made this photo shortly after the photo that appeared in yesterday’s post. The light was not working for the library in Sheridan, but it was perfect for this library in Kirklin. The afternoon winter light combined with the blue sky lead to an image that I really liked. If everything was against me in the photo yesterday, it was working for me on this photo.

Another Carnegie Library Week

This week the theme is once again Carnegie libraries. I love these libraries that are scattered all over the country. For the past couple of years I have been trying to find the libraries that I can on my way to various places. It has been a fun treasure hunt while on what could have been a boring drive somewhere. This week we will look at five of those libraries that I have found.
