The Coneflower Mural In Rensselaer

This is a cool spot in Rensselaer where you can get this mural by Jenna Morello along with the Jasper County Courthouse. Jenna is a muralist that I love to follow because she always does something amazing. It adds a lot to this spot in downtown Rensselaer. I was lucky enough early on a Saturday morning to get this parking lot empty to make this photo. Later in the day when the light was better the lot had cars in it, and I couldn’t get this same angle.

Photos On A Softball Trip

In the old days my travel used to be for my sports photography. It still is for sports photography, but now for the kids who are playing softball. These trips have been fun for me on many levels. I get to see them play ball, and I get to explore a town for a little while. This trip was unique because of the weather. The rainy skies made for much different photos before the game than after the game. In a way I got to see the town twice on the same trip.
