The Flora Public Library

This library and the Mail Pouch barn just out of town were the reason for my visit to Flora one afternoon. This has the look of a lot of the Carnegie Libraries in the smaller towns of Indiana. I like the look of this photo, but I can’t help but think that if that light turns on that it would look much better at blue hour. This is not very far away so I may have to try this trip again.

Another Carnegie Library Week

This week the theme is once again Carnegie libraries. I love these libraries that are scattered all over the country. For the past couple of years I have been trying to find the libraries that I can on my way to various places. It has been a fun treasure hunt while on what could have been a boring drive somewhere. This week we will look at five of those libraries that I have found.
