New To Me

This kind of a photo is new to me. I think that in the past I would have driven right by it. I have been studying up on some of the masters though and have found a love for photographs like this one. It is just a ticket shed for a baseball field. It struck me as interesting though so it was worth a photo. I would never have found this if not for a train blocking the highway. I was looking for a way around it when I saw this shed. I was not happy with the train blocking my way, but it resulted in a couple of photos.

A Road Trip To And From LaPorte

This week the afternoon theme is a collection of images made on the way to and from LaPorte at the beginning of August. I tried to find something new in each town to make a photo of. These are towns that I have driven through many times over the years on my way to or from Purdue. It was fun to try and give them a little more depth on my trips.
