Another Carnegie Library

This is an example of finally stopping to make a photograph. I have photographed all kinds of Carnegie Libraries in this state. I am always looking for them, and sometimes going out of my way to make photos of them. Here I had one a few minutes from my home, and I always drove by it. When it is close to you it makes it easier to pass it by. You can photograph it the next time. I made sure on this trip to make this time the next time. I am glad that I did.

A Road Trip To And From LaPorte

This week the afternoon theme is a collection of images made on the way to and from LaPorte at the beginning of August. I tried to find something new in each town to make a photo of. These are towns that I have driven through many times over the years on my way to or from Purdue. It was fun to try and give them a little more depth on my trips.
