The Monon Theater

This is not a new subject for the blog. It is a new take on it for me. I have in the past been in a hurry driving through this town. Here the light was really good for a wide photo of the theater. Luckily for me nobody was parked in front of it at this time. The light was a little more golden than normal because of the wildfire smoke diffusing the light a little. That light made this trip up north was a major part in the theme this week.

A Road Trip To And From LaPorte

This week the afternoon theme is a collection of images made on the way to and from LaPorte at the beginning of August. I tried to find something new in each town to make a photo of. These are towns that I have driven through many times over the years on my way to or from Purdue. It was fun to try and give them a little more depth on my trips.
