The Opera Block In Francesville, Indiana

Part of the fun of the last few years has been finding these little gems in the small towns that I had previously just driven though. I had gone through Francesville hundreds of times prior to my last trip when I found this alley. I never dreamt there was anything other than what I saw from the highway. These last couple of years have been fun trying to find out more about the places that I drive through. It makes the trips a little longer, but they seem more fulfilling this way.

A Road Trip To And From LaPorte

This week the afternoon theme is a collection of images made on the way to and from LaPorte at the beginning of August. I tried to find something new in each town to make a photo of. These are towns that I have driven through many times over the years on my way to or from Purdue. It was fun to try and give them a little more depth on my trips.
