Selfies At The Entrance To Purdue

A couple of weeks ago I was making photos for my Wabash Walls posts. I had one more to get, but the light was so good that I decided to head up to campus to capture the sunset. I forgot that it was the start of BGR and the area was packed full of people. As I waited for the sunset things died down to the point that I actually made a photo this spot with nobody in it. I liked this one though with five freshman making a selfie. It was something different from a spot where I have made many photos over the years.

Purdue Week

This week I am taking a look at some of my favorite places on campus at Purdue. There are a couple of reasons for that. The first is that this is the first week of the school year for Purdue. The second is that thirty years ago this fall I set foot on this campus for the first time. It is hard to believe that it has been that long. Time flies and campus changes. This week I plan on looking at a few campus landmarks that have a special meaning for me.
