Portraits On The Lake

When I was up in LaPorte I found myself with some extra time on my hands at times. I went outside to put my gear in my car so that it could acclimate to the heat and humidity a bit when I saw a bunch of different kinds of butterflies on the edge of the lake. I grabbed my 200-600mm lens and had a little fun. This swallowtail looked like it had seen better days, but it was still going from flower to flower. I waited a bit, and then made this photo.

A Fun Trip

My trip to LaPorte wasn’t designed with a bunch of fun photos in mind. I had a job going up there. I kind of made time to make some fun photos though. Looking back at what I did on that trip I realize that I made a ton of different photos on that trip that were really fun. A little of everything on one trip. I loved putting the photos together for an Instagram post every couple of days. I like a wide range of subjects, and I got it here.
