Going Back To Waldron Square Apartments

This little apartment complex on campus is pretty special to me. This is a place that I basically lived at on the weekends for a few years. A lot of memories were made on that front lawn and inside. A lot has changed in the thirty years that I have been coming to this apartment complex. The scar on the road from the 1999 women’s national championship has been fixed. A bike path has been put in place. The building looks close enough though to remind me of some fun times.

Purdue Week

This week I am taking a look at some of my favorite places on campus at Purdue. There are a couple of reasons for that. The first is that this is the first week of the school year for Purdue. The second is that thirty years ago this fall I set foot on this campus for the first time. It is hard to believe that it has been that long. Time flies and campus changes. This week I plan on looking at a few campus landmarks that have a special meaning for me.
