Sunset At The Bridge
On my way into LaPorte last week I stopped by a familiar bridge to watch the sunset over it. Had I been there a few minutes earlier the red sun passing through wildfire smoke would have been really amazing. A road closure that I didn’t count on cost me a little time getting here. I really liked this scene though as it has a few cool elements in throughout it.
Time Flies
This bridge is dedicated to my friend Rob. A couple of days after I made this photo he would have been 45 years old. He was taken from us twenty five years ago this October. When I moved to a new neighborhood as a nine year old Rob was the first person to try and make friends with me. He helped me feel comfortable in a new place. I often wonder what he would be up to today if he hadn’t been taken at 20. It was nice to spend a serene few moments by his bridge with some beautiful light.
