When The Colors Work Out

I was in LaPorte last week to help out a little, and on one of the mornings I had a couple of hours to kill. I was already uptown so I just decided to walk around to see what I could see. The colors on this photo really grabbed my attention so I walked over to make this image. It is kind of simple, but I also really like how it turned out. On the trip I made some elaborate images that I really planned out. I also made some simple images like this that just sort of happened. I always love to see what I can come up with when I am somewhere for a few days.

A LaPorte Week

This week the theme for the blog will be LaPorte. I plan on posting both in the morning and at night with some photos from the town that I grew up in. Things change so fast that at times I felt like a stranger in a place that I used to call home. It was fun getting out and exploring to find things that brought back memories of my childhood. This week I hope to share a few fun things about LaPorte.
