Trying Something Different

Last week I was in downtown Lafayette at sunset when I had an idea. The light on the courthouse clock was pretty bright and if I exposed properly I could do a kind of cool shot. The light was not quite right for a normal photo yet so why not try something new. I had a feeling if I made this a black and white that it would be almost all black or all white. I was right and it was a different photo for me to make.

A LaPorte Week

This week the theme for the blog will be LaPorte. I plan on posting both in the morning and at night with some photos from the town that I grew up in. Things change so fast that at times I felt like a stranger in a place that I used to call home. It was fun getting out and exploring to find things that brought back memories of my childhood. This week I hope to share a few fun things about LaPorte.
