Locate Lafayette

The month of July in downtown Lafayette was pretty fun. There was a ton to see and do, but there was a fun easter egg hunt going on as well. All over town they had Lafayette cutouts hidden for people to find. At the beginning of the month we were given a map, and set loose on town. I had some fun making images of some of the Lafayette’s that we found along the way. I am already kind of looking forward to this type of scavenger hunt next year.

Seeing Lafayette

Part of the fun of the scavenger hunt is going into the stores around town. They have so many cool stores to see in town that sadly we don’t always visit. A scavenger hunt like this gives us a reason to get out and shop local. Part of the fun of this project along with photographing the Lafayette cutouts was also finding something in each place to photograph.
