A Fun Photo While I Wait
Last week while photographing the final round of the PGA Junior Championships I had a small wait while the golfers walked to the green on a par three. I let the crowd pass me by because I had an idea for a photo of the green from the other side of a small ravine. While I waited for all of that this flycatcher started flying around me. It landed on a perfect branch for a photo so I made it. I did not go out there thinking about bird photography, but when the situation presents itself why not make a photo?
Where Are All The Bird Photos?
This blog used to be filled with bird photos. I really loved the challenge of making them. For some reason though the drive to make them left. To make good photos you have to put in the time. Sometimes you get lucky, but for the most part you had to spend hours to make the good photos. I started to feel like I was punching the clock when I went out so I decided to take a break. I still really like it, but I try and pick and choose when I spend my time doing it. A photo like this though seems like a sign to give it a go again.
