A Silver Lake Post Office

One crazy thing about Silver Lake, Indiana is that it is a fairly small town. They have this post office in the downtown area, and another just outside of town. I will look at the outside of town post office tomorrow. I really wanted a straight on view of this building, but cars in front of it prevented me from getting that view. I still like how this photo turned out though.

Yet Another Post Office Week

I really like this subject for a theme week. Almost every town has one. In some towns they look nearly identical, and some buildings like this have a distinct look to them. It is something that we all have used, but maybe not thought about too much. This week we will look at some of the remaining post office buildings from my softball trips last year.
