The Monticello Post Office

This is the kind of building that I think of when I think of a post office in a medium town. This building has seen some things over time. It has a weathered look to it that looked great in the last light of the day. I made a couple of different photos of this building while we were there that day. The building plus the time of day was a combination that I might not see again.

Yet Another Post Office Week

I really like this subject for a theme week. Almost every town has one. In some towns they look nearly identical, and some buildings like this have a distinct look to them. It is something that we all have used, but maybe not thought about too much. This week we will look at some of the remaining post office buildings from my softball trips last year.
