A Fun Stretch Of Main Street

This block of Main Street is great because there are so many businesses in a small footprint. You have a business on the bottom level, and one on the top. This is not a unique situation for a town, but the large, inviting windows makes it kind of unique. Over the years I have played with this idea a bit making photos. I don’t know that I made one that I liked until this one. I have some ideas to make this even better that I need to try sometime in the right conditions.

Things I Saw During Art Class

Last week my daughter was taking a mural class at Flourish Art Studio. Amanda is amazing, and if you are in the Lafayette area I would highly recommend checking the website out. They have art opportunities for kids of all ages including old men like me. Every day I would drop her off and just walk around town. I have done this before when my little one had other classes downtown. I would try and pick a new area everyday to walk to. I had the idea of making at least one photo a day for this blog from these walks. My ideas didn’t always pan out, but the process of making them was a good exercise.
