Photographing Through The Smoke

A couple of weeks ago I went up to campus to photograph the sun setting behind the clock tower. With wildfires in Canada this could have been a great sunset. It was my only free night that week to do this so I was hoping for good conditions. While I was waiting for the sun to set though some clouds started moving in and they blocked sun right at the wrong moment. It still made for an interesting photo though.

Familiar Photos

I have made a similar photo to this before. A couple of times a year the sun sets perfectly behind the clock tower. It is always fun to go back and give the same type of photo another crack. You never know when conditions may change and something really cool will happen.
