Watching The Storm Roll In
Yesterday I was watching the storms that were heading our way on YouTube. I have a spot that I think will eventually make a good photo when storms come in so as this one was approaching I drove out there. This was probably the best photo that I made before the rain forced me to leave. I really didn’t want to see a tornado, but I was hoping for some lightning. The map showed me that this should have been good. Instead we got tornado warned. This was a big storm to watch come in. I wish that I had moved somewhere farther out of town where I could have seen the entire storm at once.
Eventually…
Sometimes in phtoography you have to fail a few times before you succeed. This spot will eventually lead to a good photo if they don’t build on it first. If faces the perfect direction for the storms that roll through the area. It didn’t work this time, but it was still a good trip to make a photo. If you made every photo in your mind every time what fun would photography be?
