The Local Post Office
I have posted photos of post offices buildings all over the state in the last couple of years. The one that I really never bothered to photograph was this one in downtown Lafayette. The conditions were never right, or something else was wrong with it. The post office is the last thing left in the Halleck Federal Building, and it won’t be there for long. I made this photo last week while it was still an actual post office.
The Sony 24-105mm Lens
This is my go to lens for walking around and making photos. This past spring I was not using it very much. I had my fast glass out making softball photos. I took this out last week, and it felt weird to me. It was small and light. My camera bag was not very heavy. It made me realize that I need to take some time and just go out and make photos. Take this one camera and lens and see what I can find.
