The Golden-winged Warbler Visits The Celery Bog

This is a bird that I had not photographed often. I think that I had seen one twice, and luckily for me they were both on a great perch with a good background. On this day this warbler kept flying near me so I just sat and waited for it to come closer. Here it gives me a look as it tries to figure out what that white thing is pointed at it. I only had a few moments with this bird, but it was pretty cool.

Celery Bog Week

The theme this week is going to be birds of the Celery Bog. This used to be a staple of this blog, but lately I haven’t gotten out there very much. To be a good bird photographer you have to spend a lot of time in the field. That time is not something that I have to give right now so my visits are rare. This week though I thought that it would be fun to look at some of the birds that come through the bog.
