The Palm Warbler Visits The Celery Bog

The main reason to visit the Celery Bog was to see the Palm Warbler. I really did not need more photos to edit at the time, but I love the Palm Warbler, and it is only here for so long. This one was perched very nicely right as I walked into the woods giving me a good photo. The day was pretty dark, but the overcast skies let all of the colors of the bog shine a little. Here everything plays really well together.

Celery Bog Week

The theme this week is going to be birds of the Celery Bog. This used to be a staple of this blog, but lately I haven’t gotten out there very much. To be a good bird photographer you have to spend a lot of time in the field. That time is not something that I have to give right now so my visits are rare. This week though I thought that it would be fun to look at some of the birds that come through the bog.
