The Carolina Wren Visits The Backyard

The carolina wren is a bird that I hear year round. They are loud and let you know when they are in the area. They can also be very shy. This one grabbed some food and hopped up on my fence. It looked proud of what it caught, and let me see it before flying away. I am glad that it showed off its meal.

The Return Of My Backyard Birds

This is a feature on the blog that would show up from time to time. In the winter when things were slower it seemed to really help me get through those times when photos were not as easy to make. Now though I have found ways to keep the photos coming. In fact I have gone from one to two posts a day and still have photos to share. This has always been a fun feature though so it gets a theme week on the blog.
