The Swainson’s Thrush Visits The Backyard

This Swainson’s Thrush had some fun in the backyard. It was having a good morning getting plenty of food. Here it perched nicely on the back fence for a photo with a nice little catch in its mouth. I have seen these in the backyard before, but this one was really trying to get a photo made of it.

The Return Of My Backyard Birds

This is a feature on the blog that would show up from time to time. In the winter when things were slower it seemed to really help me get through those times when photos were not as easy to make. Now though I have found ways to keep the photos coming. In fact I have gone from one to two posts a day and still have photos to share. This has always been a fun feature though so it gets a theme week on the blog.
