Finding An Old Photo

I made this photo in 2011 before this blog was even a thing. I was really just starting to try and figure this whole photography thing out. I had a Canon Rebel with a kit lens. Sometimes the photos would be good, and most times they were not. I do kind of like this photo though because it is simple. I went through a period where I tried to do way too much with photos. Here you have some of the things that make Wanatah cool all in one frame.

The Old Canon Rebel

I bought the Canon Rebel off of Ebay in 2005 after my point and shoot broke. It made some great memories for me, but most of the time I didn’t know what I was doing with it. When the sensor got dirty I quit using it altogether. In 2011 though it came back out. I really wanted to make some photos that I couldn’t make on my iPhone. That camera and finding it again sparked everything that has happened since. It is always fun to find an old photo made with that camera.
